oh, the places you'll go

This baby is already so loved, so welcomed into this family, so eagerly awaited. The little touches in the nursery are evidence of the beautiful life ahead. From the books that are already waiting in the crib, to the stunning hand-painted wall mural, there is no doubt that the years to come will be filled with adventure and creativity.

If you can believe it, I still remember the day that Marianne was born! It was an exciting day when I heard that I had another baby cousin, a little girl! I got to watch her grow up into the amazing, caring and successful woman she has become. And here she is, expecting her own first child. Life has a way of creating these beautiful moments of reflection and hope. My heart overflows a little bit when I look at these images.

These two have the most amazing home. It's quirky and artsy and full of interesting brick and wood textures. The windows have old-fashioned window panes and vintage lace coverings. And the day was bright and drenched with sunlight, which poured in and enticed us to feature its warmth in our images.

deep footprints

A loving example is the best gift two parents can give their child. This baby is being born into a family of caregivers, with parents who have chosen a lifetime of serving others in their professions, dad being a paramedic and mom being a special educational assistant. I can only imagine the potential for their children to leave deep footprints wherever they go.

a winter baby!

Only one month until this new little life enters the world, and oh the plans that have already been made! The fuzzy mittens are ready for tiny hands, a pair of pink and blue booties are eagerly waiting for the big announcement, "It's a boy!" or "It's a girl!" Dad has even got a little pair of skis all ready for when his son or daughter is ready to hit the slopes. A lifetime of adventure awaits and I cannot wait to watch it unfold. I love all three of you to bits!
