It's the weekend so I gave everyone a more challenging macro assignment today: Refraction Photography. Essentially, we were shooting through water drops to capture a picture inside of them. It's relatively new to me, so I was learning along with my crew.
I kinda fell in love with it! For a first attempt, I'm thrilled with how enjoyable it was. My steady hand was put to the test when placing the water drops with a tiny hypodermic needle.
Learning is rarely easy. If it is, you really have to ask yourself if it was worth doing. Pushing my limits is what continually allows me to advance even after doing photography for over 20 years. There is always something new to learn on this journey. Maybe on your journey too.
Embrace the challenge.
